Description: Category: Medical Name: Mohammed Zaahid Imran Company: Hedge-SA Title: Sanitizer dispenser At the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic, it was imperative that every shop, mall or supermarket had someone standing outside with a spray bottle of hand sanitizer to sanitize people. However, I have designed a system that gets rid of the need for an extra person needed outside a store to sanitize thus also reducing the chance of spreading of the virus. The dispenser consists of a 3D printed enclosure that will house the electronics as well as the sanitizer. The system consists of ultrasonic distance measuring sensors that will automatically dispense sanitizer the moment a hand is placed under thus reducing any spread of the virus as the client does not have to touch any surfaces. The enclosures are light, yet strong enough to hold the sanitizer and electronics, the parts are designed in such a way that there is little to no support material which ensures a cheap product as time and material needed to print is reduced.

Don’t Forget to Email your model (.stp OR .stl) and supporting document to competition@rapdasa.org in a zipped file. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
