Our bureau 3DPXL a division of Jeffart Signs has landed one of the largest 3D printers on the continent which transforms the way high-level marketing, advertising and themed projects are created it boasts a bed size of 1.5 meters x 1.2 meters and has a height capacity of 1.8 meters. Objects are built upon a support plate, which moves down as the printer extrudes layers of white polymer gel which is then UV hardened. The final material is a photopolymer resin with acrylic particles. At lighting vertical speeds able to print 35cm per hour depending on model complexity and length of wall layer. The material is easily sanded and or machined after the printing process. A combination of body fillers and spray fillers can be applied to achieve a smooth finish and multiple parts can be joined together to form larger objects. The process is geared for shell and hollow bodied objects that need to be strong and light weight.
