A Biomimicry Workshop, presented by Claire Janisch, a certified Biomimicry Professional (www.biommicrysa.co.za), and hosted by Rapid 3D, was held in Johannesburg on 10 May 2018. Biomimicry Thinking Methodology was applied in 3D Printing/Rapid Product Development focusing on the application of biomimicry in the manufacturing space and the opportunities provided by additive manufacturing technologies.
